The Roving Eye at ARTER Istanbul


Hey hey hey, time to get excited again. I feel so honored to having a commissioned work for a group exhibition opening this week at ARTER, Istanbul, Turkey (according The Guardian, it’s one of the best modern art galleries there today. Classy!). The exhibition will present more than 40 works by 36 of Southeast Asia’s most innovative contemporary artists from Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam and Malaysia and is curated by Iola Lenzi, a researcher and critic focusing on Southeast Asian contemporary art. From Indonesia there will be big names such Heri Dono, FX Harsono, Krisna Murti, Mella Jaarsma & Melati Suryodarmo (holy molly what a list! I’m the youngest & lousiest here).
